The BK MIKRO scanner mounts near your tool. The tool monitoring system "learns" the position of the tool through its unique encoder system and stores this location in its memory. The scanner quickly rotates its scanning wand on every cycle of your machine, checking for tool presence.

Our products include the BK MIKRO 7 for small, confined areas and multi-spindle applications; BK MIKRO 4 for single tool applications, BK MIKRO 8 with optional Profibus control for CNC machines, and BK MIKRO LIN for applications where radial scanning is not possible.

BK MIKRO can be installed very easily and is suitable for initial installation of equipment as well as retrofitting.

The TECHNA-CHECK Tool Monitoring System, with its easy set-up software, has been developed to monitor for broken, worn and missing tools through spindle power monitoring or vibration analysis.

With TECHNA-CHECK, no mechanical modification of the machinery is necessary. The system is mounted easily in an electric cabinet.
